Allergy is exagrated response of body to unknown allergen (offender). The allergen could be either Inhalant which is taken in by nose and may reach to lung or it could be ingested as food or as drug. Some allergens are contact allergens responsible for Skin allergies.

नाकाच्या एलर्जीला "Allergic Rhinitis" म्हणतात |
नाक आणि फुफ़्फ़साच्या एलर्जी जसे दमाला "Naso bronchial Allergies” म्हणतात |
डोड़याच्या एलर्जीला “Allergic conjunctivitis” or Spring catarrh म्हणतात |
तव्चेच्या एलर्जीला “Atopic Dermatitis” म्हणतात |
त्वचेच्या पित्तीला “Urticaria” म्हणतात |
जेवणाद्वारे होणारया एलर्जीला "Food Allergies" म्हणतात |
औषधीद्वारे होणारया एलर्जीला "Drug Allergies" म्हणतात |

All these allergies are “IgE” mediated reaction in blood, hence Total Serum IgE levels are measured, If they are much above the normal, patient is labeled as ‘Atopic’ or ‘Allergic”; such patients need to go for Allergy Test.
